The FGF5 Gene mRNA Expression in Cashmere Goat Skin Tissue

Abstract: In order to study the biological function of Fibroblast growtor factor -5 on the growth and development offollicles in cashmere goat, FGF5 as the Candidate factor investigating its expression in the different stages of Cashmeregrowth in skin tissue were studied by RT -PCR method. The results showed that FGF5 gene was expressed in differenttime of the tested skin tissues, including anage and recessing period. But it only found one kind of mRNA, that was longspice mRNA, but other kind of short spice mRNA(FGF5)was not investigated.
