Abstract: Endogenous polyamine content in leaves and phloem of different nodes of 2-year-old open pollinated peach seedling trees (Prunus persica cv.Okubao) were analyzed by high performance liquid chromatography. The results showed that putrescine (Put) content in the leaves and phloem had the two highest level simultaneously with the node position went up,the Put contents??peak were at node No.41-45 and No.81-85,and spermidine (Spd) in the leaf samples increased rapidly from the node No.46-50,spermine (Spm) content of phloem took on double peak curve and the first peak appeared at node No.46-50 and the second occurred at node No.81-85.All these indicated that the node No.46 and 81 could be the critical points of phrase change of peach seedling trees.
