Characteristic Analysis of a New Cotton Line 126/xi9 with Insect Resistance Developed by Bt Gene Transformation

Abstract: The characters of yield,fiber quality and stress resistance of cotton 126/xi9 were analyzed according to the data of regional trials in the Yellow River area from 2004 to 2005.The results indicated that 126/xi9 had higher and stable yield,excellent fiber quality,high resistance to Fusarium and Verticillium wilts and higher resistance to bollworm.It could be suitable to be planted in Yellow River area.
