Effects of Phytohormones and Illuminative Hours on Shoot Tip Meristem Culture of Sweet Potato

Abstract: According to the reaction of various genotypes of sweet potato in different phytohormone levels, the four sweet potato varieties, which are mainly cultured in Henan province, are classified to three types: insensitive to phytohormone and easy to form plantlet, sensitive to phytohormone and easy to form plantlet and insensitive to phytohormone and difficult to form plantlet. Illuminative hours isn't the limited factor of plantlet formation to sweet potato shoot tip culture, it is better not to below the 14 hr/d.
