Abstract: The absorption rules of 9 kinds,}f nutrients and dry matter accumulation of summer sesame and their correlations were studied. The results indicated that the content of nutrients and its distribution in each organ varied with the process of duration. The value was higher in earlier stage but lower later in vegetative organs and increased gradually in reproduction organs. The accumulation of P, Ca, Zn and Cu synchronized with that of dry mattetr of summer sesame, appearing accumulation peak during flowering-stem lengthening stage. But shat of N, K, Mg, Mn and Fe were ahead of dry matter accumulation, and the peak value raised during seedling-flowering stage. This correlated with the physiological -biochemical functions of each nutrient element. Fertilization affected the content, accumulation and distribution of each kind of nutrient in plant.

Key words: Sesame, Nutritive element, Dry matter, Rate of accumulation
