Some Morphological and Physiological Characters of Widely-adapted High-yielding Wheat Variety Y-umai 13

Abstract

Abstract: Wheat variety Yumai 13 is well adapted to most of Huang-Huai wheat growing area and has high yielding potential. Its mai-n morphological and physiological characters are as follows.Head number per Unit area is higher and'kernel weight is stable. Spike differentiates slowly before winter and turns fast in late spring,Dry matter accumulates and transfers well in:grain filling period, the harvest- index is high. Root system developes well and canopy structure is resonable and changeable.Resistant or tolerant to main natural disasters and diseases Such as freeze, drought, dry-hot wind and stripe rust.
