Preliminary Report on the Physiological Races of Rice Blast Fungus (Pyricularia oryzae Cav.) in Hebei Province

Abstract

Abstract: During 1978-1981 and 1987-1989, physiological races of Pyricularia oryae Cav, in Hebei Province were tested by the use of different Chinese rice varieties, The results showed that the races in Hebei province were basically stable, There were mainly four Chinese races, i.e, ZE, ZE3, ZF,，ZG，.The varieties used in the production and the new varieties are listed below in order of resistance (from high to low):Zhonghu No, 8, Zhongzuo 321, Jigeng No, 10, Kenyu No, 1，82-2-1, Jigcng No, 8, 82-32, Kenfeng No, 5.
