A STUDY OF COUNTY-LEVEL SOIL SURVEY AND MAPPING BY USING LANDSAT CCT DIGITAL-IMAGE MAP

Abstract: To process the Landsat CCT of the experimental area in the respect of computer-spectrum-figure,such as mono-band,clustering,enhansement,ratio,decreasing,etc.;to print it into all kinds of spectrum-figure digital-image map;to select digial-image map which has close interrelation with the landform and soil information of the experimental area;with plane-geometric correction,to paint it into"Color Symbol Plane Map".According to the survey,interpretation and mapping steps of preparation,inside room pre-interpretation of route survey,detailed investigation in the experimental area to set up interpretation mark,to interprete inside to draw areas,to check in field,to transfer,to measure area etc.to complete the interpretation mapping of the soil in the experimental area.It is proved that it can satisfy the requirements of middle scale soil survey mapping to use Landsat CCT digital-image map in soil survey and mapping.It has the-advantage of quickness,higher precision and lower cost and can be used in county-level middle scale soil survey and mapping and provides of basic digitalized processing maps for the monitoring of soil resources.
