The Effect of Drought on Superoxide Dismutase in Seedlings of Wheat Cultivars with Different Drought Resistance

摘要: 不同抗旱性小麦幼苗的超氧物歧化酶(SOD)活性在细胞内分布存在差异,表现在抗旱品种的叶绿体和细胞溶质SOD活性、植株总SOD活性高于不抗旱品种,而线粒体SOD活性低于不抗旱品种.干旱处理后,SOD活性增加,抗旱品种酶活性增加值高于不抗旱品种.本研究还观察到8条SOD同工酶酶谱,其中干旱诱导胚芽细胞溶质产生一条新酶谱.

Abstract: The results indicated that the distribution of SOD attivity varied with organelles. For chloroplasts (1000 × g precipitate fraction) and cytoplasmic fraction (11000 ×g supernatant) the drought resistant cultivar had higher SOD activity than the drought sensitive one. But for mitochondria (11000 × g pellet fraction), the drought sensitive cultivar had higher SOD activity. Under the drought condition, total SOD activity increased greatly in the drought resistant cultivar compared to the drought sensitive one. Polyacryla-mide gel electrophoresis showed eight SOD isoenzyme bands for wheat seedlings. A new isoenzyme band was induced by water stress in the cytoplasmic fraction of the coleoptiles (including first leaves).
