Abstract:
The pot incubation ex periment was conducted to study the contents of microbial biomass nit rogenin dif ferent level of so il fertility and the relationship betw een the basic content of microbial biomass nit rogen andnitrogen supply in so il,and the ef fect of fert ilization on microbial biomass nit rogen. The results show ed that thebasic content of microbial biomass nitrogen could indicate the capacity of nit rog en supply in soil. Under the separateapplication of nit rogen fertilizer or organic matter,the ef fect of the level of soil fert ility on microbial biomassnitrogen was not evident. But w hen they w ere applied together,the capacity of biologic f ixation of nitrogen increasedobviously,especially in the lower level of soil fertility.
