Abstract: In order to develop the embryo transfer technology to Boer goats and promote the reproductive ability of colony, two methods of superovulation were applied to treat67 Boer goats. The results showed that: the average number of gained embryos and transferable embryos, and gained embryos rate from FSH method were significant different from those of FSH-HCG method (p<0.01), so the superovulation effect of FSH to Boer goats was better than that of FSH-HCG. Three hundred and fifty-two embryos of A and B grade were gained by the two ways, and 5.25±5.09 per ewe in average; 183 recipients were transferred and the pregnancy rate of double-embryo transfer rate was61.54%, and the pregnancy rate of single-embryo transfer was 71.43%, and the lambing rate was 152.38%. Therefore, the application of embryo transfer technology to develop Boer goats has substantial benefitial effects.
