Abstract: A preliminary study on the Bureja Gooseberry(Ribes burejense)in Shanxi had been made in this paper. The biological traits, the mineral nutrients and biochemistry were examined. The results indicated that the berry of Bureja Gooseberry is rich in nutrients. So it would be a new resource of fruit tree that needs to be developed and utilized in Shanxi.
