Abstract:
By measuring 12 morphological and biological indices systemat cally during the ripening of’Red Delicious’apples,and studying the respiration climacteric and undulation of internal ethylene concentration of fruits harvested in different time,furtherly,analyzing the cold-storage and CA-storage results of these fruits,suggested that the internal ethylene concentration can be used as the main biological index for determining the optimum harvesting time of’Red Delicious’ apples;starch test parameter as main reference index;surface colour,soluble solid contents and seed colour as reference indices.
