Abstract: In this study,13 cash crops were plantd in saline alkali soils with different salt content to evaluste their salt tolerant ability in Huanghuaihai plain of northern China. The result showed that:Gossypium spp.,Helianthus annuus L.,Hordeum vulgare L.,A triplex trainglaris,Beta vulgaris L.,Sorghum bicolor(L.) Moench×S.sudanense(L.) Stapf,Sesbania cannavina Pers.,G.soja.Sieb.et Zucc.,Orychophragmus violaceus(L.) ,Astragalus adsurgens Pall.,Medicago sativa L.,Vicia villosa Roth, these 12 crops could grow well in the soil with salt content 2-4 g/kg;Sesbania cannabina Pers., G.soja.Sieb.et Zucc.,Atriplex triangularis,Beta vulgaris L.,Sorghum bicolor(L.)Moench×S.sudanense(L.)
