Abstract: 3 plantations including 30 hybrid families of Eucalyptus spp. was built at Shiwan of Guangxi,Gonghe and Zijin of Guangdong in Southern China. Height,DBH and Single Volume had been investigated in 1. 5,2. 5,3. 5 years old, respectively. The results of variance and adaptability analysis indicated that: There were remarkable differences in height,DBH and Single Volume among families, sites and family site; Level of growth was Gonghe > Shiwan > Fengan; Synthesis analysis of families indicated that No. 28,27,17 of no-implanted and 13,8,6 of beam-implanted-families grew fast and steady in different sites, but No. 2,18 and 30 should be eliminated because of slow growth and bad adaptability; there were 27 mutation elite trees to be selected in 3 sites and mutation rate was 0. 75% by single volume.
