Abstract: The common method for monoclonal antibody preparation is complex and time-consuming.So a procedure which allowed rapid and efficient isolation of target protein from a library of antibodies was reported here.According to immunology protocol, specific antibodies to a peritrophic membrane protein,SeP89(which was expressed in Escherichia coli),was isolated from a polycolonalantiserum against a pool of proteins from the PM of Spodoptera exigua. We successfully isolated highly specific antibodies to SeP89 protein from a polycolonal antiserum pool.A method of rapid and efficient isolation of highly specific antibodies from an antiserum against a pool of proteins was established.
