Abstract: The changes of calcium ,magnesium and iron contents in flue-cured tobacco green leaves during the maturationprocess were analyzed .Furthermore , the variance and relation analysis with calcium ,magnesium and iron in green leaveswere carried out .Leaf samples were taken from different leaf positions and days in Heilongjiang Province .The results indicatedthat calcium and iron contents were decreased with the increasing leaf positions .With the increasing days after transplanting, calcium ,magnesium and iron contents were not regularity .The difference of calcium and iron contents in differentleaf positions was extremely significant , but magnesium content was not significant .The difference of calcium ,magnesiumand iron contents was not significant in different days .The day after transplanting was not significant correlation with calcium, magnesium and iron contents .The extremely significant positive correlations were observed between calcium and magnesium, between calcium and iron , and between magnesium and iron
