A Study on Effects of Media in Different Formulas on Growth of Mycelia for Auricularia Bag

Abstract: The effects of media in different formulas on the growth of mycelia of Auricularia on bag culture materials were studied. Results show that with formula NO. 1, mycelia of Auricularia are white and dense, grow faster with strong vigor and that the occurrence of pollution of the cultural bags by miscellaneous germs is lower, because the amount of nutrients, C-N ratio, and physical features are favourable to the growth of mycelia of Auricularia. The ingredients in formula No. 1 is as follows, cotton hulls -48%, sawdust-48%, gypsum- 1 %, phosphorous fertilizer- l %, lime-1.5%, urea-0.5%.
