Performance of Four Oolong Teas with Different Flavor Style in Cigarette Filter

Abstract: To get a better understanding of the performance of oolong tea with different flavor style when usedin cigarette filter, four kinds of oolong tea from Anxi town, named fresh-flavor Tieguanyin, rich-flavor Tieguanyin,fresh-flavor Huangjingui and rich-flavor Huangjingui, respectively, were selected and extracted by CO2 Supercriticalextraction method, from which the extracts were analyzed by head-space SPME-GC /MS method. The results indicated that the extract from fresh-flavor Huangjingui represented relatively rich and high content volatile components,especially aroma components. When added to diacetate cellulose tow filter, it showed a more significantly active impact on cigarette quality taste in terms of aroma richness, irritation and comfortableness.
