Abstract: In the laboratory, Ostryopsis davidiana was inoculated with five different species of ectomycorrhiza fungi. Through observing the ectomycorrhizal shape of inoculated seedings and measuring the biomass and infectious ratio of ectomycorrhiza, results show that all the inoculated seedings formed ectomycorrhiza except for the contrast and that infectious ratios excessed 40.8%. All kinds of fungus could obviously promote the growth of seedings after colonizing seedings. The Paxillus involutus is the best one and the biomass of seedings was 2.1 times than that of the contrast. According to the shapes of the formed ectomycorrhiza, ectomycorrhiza shape of Suillus granulatus and Paxillus involutus were yellowy or brown and ungual or sticky. That Pisolithus tinctorius was brown or blank-brown and sticky. That two strains of Suillus grevillei are most yellowy and translucent and sticky or pinnated. And that the Cenococcun geophilum was blank and seemed bulb.Through observing of ectomycorrhizal paraffin section, the seedings inoculated ectomycorrhizal fungi could form typical hartig net and different fungi inoculating seedings had definite discrepancy in hartig net.The seedings which were not inoculated didn't form hartig net.
