Discussion and Practice of Rotational Breeding of Line Progenitor on Maintenance and Improvement of Production Performance of Line Ⅲ of Yuzhou Egg-brown Layer

Abstract: Rotation breeding of line progenitor was adopted in line Ⅲ of Yuzhou egg-brown layer.Selected successively for three generations, layers' age at first laying wasput off for 5.65 d,and average egg weight of 72 week-old was increased by 2.82 g, and egg number was added by 8.62.Egg quality maintained higher leveLand shelLcolor became browner.It indicated that rotationaLbreeding of line progenitor in cultivated pure strain could keep and improve their production performance.
