Abstract: Based on the calculation of solar radiat ion and grain yield data in recent 10 years(1991-2000), this paper analyzed the regional dis tribution characteris t ics of solar energy efficiency (as SEUE) of main grain crops in 29 agrocounties selected as represent stations in Inner Mongol ia. All average uti liza t ion efficiencies of main cereal crops are higher in the eastern part of Inner Mongol ia than that in the centra-l western region,On whole view, maize has the highest utilization efficiency, the next is spring wheat, and then, cereal crops and millet.
