Abstract: Some factors affected the quality of inoculum in pot culture for producing AM fungi inoculum. In this paper, the influence of composition of medium, and the replenishment of nutrient solution on the quality of Gmosseae inoculum were studied. The results showed that different mediums have different nutrient status, aeration and water holding capacity;and therefore, have different influences on the growth and reproduction of mycorrhizal fungi. In five mediums loam soil mixed with equal amount of sand was proved to have the highest number of spores. The nutrient status, especially the content of Olsen P,could change the quality of inoculum. In five levels of nutrient status 10 mg/kg of Olsen P was the most favorable for the production of AM fungi spores.
