Epidemiological Investigation of Haemophilus parasuis of Qinghai Province

Abstract: The research aimed to study the infected rate of Haemophilus parasuis in Qinghai Province.639 serumwere detected by the indirect haemagglutination (IHA)tests.Isolates were serotyped by the gel diffusion based upon heat-stable antigens.Finding that total positives rate of this area was 25.19 %.Isolates was a gram-negative bacterium thatwere derived from Suspect Haemophilus parasuis 15 samples of lung and peritoneum of euthanized clinically affected pigsfrom Qinghai Province.Two strains of Gram -negative bacillus were isolated were identified as Haemophilus parasuisserovar5(QH0804)and serovar7(QH0811)based on biochemical characteristics and polymerase chain reaction (PCR).finding show that part of pigs were infected by Haemophilus parasuis of this region.
