Abstract:
The balsam pear leaves were macerated with three kinds of organic solution,which was ether,acetone or ethanol.The larvae of plulella xylostella were separately fed with the leaves of cabbage,which were smeared by the extract liquids.The experimental results showed that consumption of leaves decreased and the growth and survival rate also decreased.Among diffferent concentration of the three extract liquids,50% of ether extract liquid was the most effective.
