Abstract:
Based on the principles of radiation heat transformation and the effects of plastic shelters on photopermeability and heat accumulation,the open pigsty was covered with 0.14mm plastic film from the beginning of winter in the mountainous areas of SW Beijing,so as to improve the microscopic environment for pigs.The energy consumption was decreased and the feed efficiency increased.Higher productivity was obtained with limited forage,which changed the backward situation of feeding in the whole year and growing only half a year.
