Susceptibility to Insecticides of Field Strains of the Armyworm

Abstract: The susceptibility of army worm, Mythimna separata Walker to orga-nochlorine, organophosphorus, carbamatc and pyrethroid insecticides was studied. The results showed that the field strains of the armyworm in Tianjin area has not developed resistance to ten insecticides yet. However, the susceptibility of the field strain of the armyworm to a few insecticides has reduced slightly.
