Abstract: Through interbreeding of three high-oil maize and three normal maize varieties,high-oil maize pollen into common maize pollination,we did some researches on the influence of high-oil maize pollen to common maize kernel traits and oil content.Experimental results showed that,by heterosis, common maize grain yield had little increase or change after high-oil maize pollen, but embryo weight increased significantly.Compared common corn and high-oil corn hybrids with the corresponding common corn inbred, the proportion of grain embryos increased greatly.Crain oil content increase was largely due to increase of embryo in the proportion of grain.
