Abstract: The relationship between 21 main species of Stipa breviflora communities were studied by using x2 test forthe 2 X2 contingency table and印eaiman's ranksignificant correlation were more than pairs thatcorrelation analysis. The results indicated that:The pairsthat present nopresent significant and extremely significant correlation. In all of thespecies pairs, each of the positive correlation coefficients and negative correlation The 21mamcoefficients were almost hold the half.species of Stdpa breviflora communities could be divided into three ecological groups, viz. Artemdsda frigddagroup,Caragana stenophylla group and Stipa breviflora gttup.Speaiman's rank correlation coefficient test was moresensitive to study relationship between species.
