Preliminary Studies of Loxostege sticticalis Linnaeuson Suspended Flying and Fat Content

Abstract: The studies of Loxostege sticticalis Linnaeus on suspended flying and fat content in 1989 and 1996 showed.(1) The pest had stronger flight capability compared with Cnaphalocrocis medinalis Guenee etc.especially its three day moth (2)The pest consumed its body fat when flying (3)The body fat content determining indicated the climaxing mothes in three counties of Hulunbeier region in 1987 did not migrate from Siziwang region which was the pest western overwinting base.
