Abstract: Studies on aphid-damaged tobacco plants were conducted in 1987-1992 in net house, which showed, that aphids increased the kinds and activity of peroxidase isozyme, total nitrogen, reductive sugar and sucrose, and decreased the amount of chlorophyll and photosynthesis intensity of the plants injuried at seedling stage. Aphids also reduced plant height, leaf number, leaf area and postponed flower-bud time for 8-15 days.
