To investigate the effect of adding nano2montmorillonite (nano2MMT) instead of zinc oxide on the physio2 biochemical parameters of serum and the zinc level of feces in weanling piglets,eighty four landrace large white cross weanling piglets with similar weight were selected and were randomly divided into three groups according to their weights and sexes. Each group contained four replicates and each replicate contained seven piglets with four males and three fe2 males. The control group was fed with basal diet,and the treatment Ⅰand Ⅱwere fed with basal diet plus 3 000 mg/ kg zinc oxide or 3 000 mg/ kg nano2MMT,separately,which lasted for 28 days. The results showed that,compared to treat2 ment Ⅰ,the zinc concentration of serumwas reduced by 53110 % and 45131 % respectively( P < 0105),the zinc content of feces was reduced by 69161 % and 67189 % respectively ( P < 0105),and the activity of serum alkaline phosphatase was reduced by 36103 % and 48199 % respectively( P < 0105) for treatment Ⅱat 14th and 28th day1But treatment Ⅰand Ⅱhad no significant difference in serum urea nitrogen,total protein and glucose.
