摘要： 在从事河北省科委下达的“果园新害虫形态研究”中,发现为害枣树的一种同翅目新害虫,即蜡蝉总科Fulgoroidea,菱蜡蝉科Cixiidae,脊菱蜡蝉属Oliarus一新种Oliarus zaonensis Wang,n.sp.; 附有特征图.模式标本保存在河北省农林科学院石家庄果树研究所昆虫标本室.

Abstract: In the present paper one new species of Cixiidae from China-Oliarus zaonensis Wang, n.sp. is described. This new species is harmful to Chinese jujube tree. It was collected from Shijiazhuang, Hebei province. All the type specimens are preserved in the insect collection room of Shijiazhuang Pomology Institute.This species resembles O.pachyceps Mats in appearance, but it is much little in size. The pronotum is brown, only the margin is stramineous, but the mesonotum is dark.
