摘要： 在从事中国蜡蝉总科区系研究中，发现中国蜡蝉科一新种，即海南梵蜡蝉──AphaenahainanensisWang新种；该种隶属于蜡蝉总科（Fulgoroidea），蜡蝉科（Fulgoridae），梵蜡蝉属（Aphaena），附有特征图。蜡蝉总科的成若虫大都是林木、果树及农作物的重要害虫，故对其研究有重要的经济价值。该种模式标本保存在石家庄果树研究所昆虫标本室。

Abstract: Aphaena hainansis Wang n. sp. is a new species of Fulgoridae found in China. It is similar to Aphaena decolorata Chou et Wang 1985 but can be easily distinguished from the latter by the cephalic protuberance reflexed to the back of body.Holotype I, Hainan Province, 1935-VII- I-2.
