摘要： 美国白蛾（Hyphantria cunea Drury）隶属于鳞翅目、灯蛾科、白蛾属，是重要的国际检疫害虫。据文献报道它可为害200余种林木。为了准确地识别美国白蛾，本文在成虫形态和雄外生殖器上将它与其它为害林木的多种近似种类予以区别。

Abstract: Fall Webworm (Hyphantria cunea Drury) belongs to Lcpidoptera, Arctndoc. Hyphantria. Being harmful to many forest and fruit trees, it is an important pest for international quarantine. So it is very important to differentiate fall webworm with other harmful allied species in morphology and male genitalia.
